Where platform scaffolding works best
- Ceiling & lighting changes, fire-stopping and HVAC
- Retail & office refits with overnight or out-of-hours installs
- Factories & warehouses for plant access and safe void infill
- Schools & public buildings—sports halls, stages and atriums
- Stairwells & irregular spaces needing infill and edge protection
What you get with our platforms
Full working platforms & edge protection
Continuous boarded decks with appropriate guardrails and toe-boards. We plan platform heights, clearances and access points to suit your trades.
Load capacity & spans
Platforms sized for your tools and materials, with bays and bracing set to meet the required load class. We’ll advise on spans and any strengthening needed for storage zones.
Access & egress
Stair towers or ladder access as appropriate, positioned to minimise disruption and keep routes clear for other trades and building users.
Public & property protection
Debris netting, crash decks and sensible segregation in live environments. We protect floors, finishes and fixtures and leave spaces clean on dismantle.
Tidy, low-impact installs
Neat ties, minimal footprint and careful material handling—especially important on retail, office and school sites.

FAQs
What’s the difference between a birdcage and a crash deck?
A birdcage is a free-standing scaffold with a full working platform across a room. A crash deck is a protective platform—often used under roof works—to protect people and property below.
How much load can the platform take?
We size the platform to your tools and materials and set the load class accordingly. Tell us what you need to store or move on the deck and we’ll plan it in.
Can you work out of hours?
Yes—especially useful for retail and office refits. We’ll coordinate evening or weekend installs to minimise disruption.
Do you provide designs?
Where the setup is non-standard or specified by the site, we’ll supply scaffold designs and calculations with the project pack.
